Debbie Weltmann is Chief Executive Officer at Weltmann Lighting. She co-founded Weltmann Lighting, LLC in 2008. Her extensive understanding of business operations as well as her knowledge and experience of management and corporate relations has helped her advance Weltmann Lighting’s business and posture the company for growth and success. Due to Debbie’s commitment and qualifications, Weltmann Lighting is a certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) with certifications from Empire State Development (ESD), Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB) and Nassau County Office of Minority Affairs.

Debbie oversees the company’s financial performance, customer satisfaction, loyalty, market share, and productivity. Her strong commitment to operational excellence, customer service and satisfaction as well as innovative approaches to business problems has elevated Weltmann Lighting to being a premier lighting distributor in the New York area. We are committed to providing our clients with the best product and service at all layers of the construction project.

Debbie works to share Weltmann Lighting’s mission and vision with our customers, manufacturers, and in house team. She is quoted, “Our core principal is integrity and we provide a smart, dedicated and responsive team that works closely with our clients to bring each project in on schedule and produce a professional and beautiful finished project."

Debbie holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan and dual Masters Degrees from Hofstra University.

 


Kevin Weltmann is President of Weltmann Lighting. He co-founded Weltmann Lighting in 2008, bringing more than 25 years of industry leadership and executive management experience. As President, he oversees the corporate direction and strategy for Weltmann Lighting’s operations, including marketing, sales, estimating and project management. He focuses on strategy, leadership, innovation, and our clients. Kevin has brought computer technology to the next level in lighting, using the newest software to estimate projects, training our team, and creating new and better ways to communicate with our clients on a daily basis. He is quoted as saying, "It's our job as a company to help our clients complete their projects (no matter how big or small) on time, within budget and provide innovative lighting solutions.”

Kevin has been a leader and innovator in the lighting industry where his focus on clients, innovation and operational efficiency has led to significant company growth and success since inception.

As President, he ensures the firm’s exceptionally strong tradition of corporate social responsibility. Weltmann Lighting supports Winthrop University Hospital, NY Presbyterian Hospital, NY Methodist Hospital, St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters, Sportsmen for Charity, AHRC, Florina Rusi-Marke Cancer Foundation, Chance Phelps Foundation, Newsday Charities, Down Syndrome and the Renaissance Scholarship and Think Fit for Kids with financial contributions as well as encourages personal participation from its employees.

Kevin earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the A.B Freeman School of Business from Tulane University, in New Orleans, Louisiana. After graduating he joined Coopers & Lybrand in New York City where he specialized in audit and consulting. He then became a Certified Public Accountant in 1991 while providing accounting services for a large national construction firm.
